What is an Electrostatic Furnace Filter?

An electrostatic furnace filter can replace a traditional pleated disposable filter for your furnace. These filters are a great option because they are reusable and washable, so you don't have to worry about replacing your filter every year. 

How Long Do Electrostatic Furnace Filters Last?

The electrostatic furnace filter can last for five years or more, depending on how well the homeowner takes care of the filter.

Electrostatic Furnace Filters Maintenance 

You can clean the filter simply by removing it from the equipment and vacuum and/or rinse with warm water, air dry, and put it back in. 

The frequency of maintenance will vary depending on the household; for example, if you have pets, you will likely have to clean the filters more often.
